Limelite Creative (hereafter known as we, us), provides graphic design services in Central Scotland for sole traders, small to medium businesses, and charitable organisations.
We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to this web site. In particular, we want you to know that we will not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.
We are hereby obliged to provide you with a detailed Privacy Notice so that you are clear on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it and how we keep it secure.
Contact forms/Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information that you have freely given us (this is usually limited to your name and email address). We use that information to send regular newsletters to tell you about things relating to us; to contact you if we need to obtain additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy to continue receiving our emails.
Cookies are small text files that your browser saves on your computer and which allow an analysis of your website usage. Cookies automatically send us certain information about your computer and your connection to the Internet, such as: anonymised IP address, operating system and browser used. If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
With the knowledge gained, we will make our website more user-friendly, place important content on the most popular pages and develop our marketing strategies according to the interests of our target audience.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
By using the “Incognito” / “Private” mode of your browser or by means of corresponding settings in your browser, you can prevent the installation of cookies. As a result, some of the facilitation of operating our website will no longer work.
We also use “cookies” provided by Facebook Pixel which operate in different ways, but they are primarily used in connection with our advertising. It enables us to measure, optimise and build audiences for advertising campaigns on Facebook. In particular it enables us to see how our users move between devices when accessing the Limelite Creative website and Facebook. This will ensure that our Facebook advertising is of interest to our users.
We also use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), on our website. Google Analytics uses its own “cookies” (see above). On behalf of Limelite Creative, Google collects standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone.
In addition, you may prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie by downloading the browser plug-in: Browser Add On to disable Google Analytics.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Retention and erasing of your data
We do our best to keep your data accurate and up to date, to the extent that you provide us with the information we need to do so. If your data changes then you are responsible for notifying us of those changes.
Upon request, we will provide you with information about what Personal Information we hold about you. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as long as needed to provide you with our Services. We may also retain and use your information in order to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our Agreements.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to email@example.com.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with any third parties, but as stated above we do use MailChimp as our mailing list delivery service and Google Analytics to investigate how successful our marketing has been.
